Terry Nash- Keyboards, B-3 Organ

Where it all started--I remember A player piano in the 1st home that I lived in. My parents and older siblings listened to a vast array of musical styles...so my musical influences are many. I started playing drums at the age of 5. Moved on to guitar at the age of 8. I started playing a Hammond organ at age 10. I fell in love with the instrument and have been playing Keyboards ever since. I played at church from time to time and sang in the youth group. I've had the pleasure of working with some great musicians and artists, many of whom have become awesome friends! I have played in groups and recorded with members of--James Brown, The Funkadelics, Kenny Wayne Sheppard, Robert Palmer, Steve Boone (Lovin' Spoonful), Will McFarlane (Muscle Shoals And Bonnie Raitt), Jeff Cook (Alabama), and Willie Nelson...I have played keyboards for--The John Belushi Estate And Dan Akroyd Sanctioned Blues Brothers Review, Percy Sledge, William Bell, Archie Bell, Ronnie Dove, Troy Shondell (Tommy James & the Shondells), Alive and Kicking (you know-Hold On Just A Little Bit Tighter Now Baby), Brian Johnson (lead singer for AC/DC), Diedre Farr, And Nantucket...I've performed music for Alan Alda's movie Betsy's Wedding as well as having a musical part in the movie...I also had the pleasure of working with Andy Griffith on Matlock in a musicians role on the show...I played keys on a project for friend Lenny Loftin (actor and songwriter) funded by Mega actor Russell Crowe which was produced by David Willkins...The last big media session that I've participated in is playing piano for an episode of One Tree Hill.

JK Loftin- Lead Guitar, Back-Up Vocals

Growing up in Kinston, NC., J.K. Loftin has been performing in professional musical groups since the age of 13. His first major musical act was from 1966-69 with "The Atlantic Coast Show" and the next musical adventure for J.K. was 1969-71 with "The Soulsations" an R&B/Top 40 act which morphed into "Medusa", a more
rock-oriented group. Then, from 1971-81, J.K. joined the rock group "Pegasus", from the Greenville,N.C. area. Known for their funky rockin' shows, they toured the east coast from Richmond to Ft. Lauderdale, played shows with Steve Bassett, Steppenwolf (again), Blackfoot, Molly Hatchet, Nantucket and many others. During the period 1977-79, most venues for live music turned to disco, and therefore so did J.K., joining a band in Durham, N.C. called "Northstate". During 1982-89, a major change was in the works for J.K. He partnered with an extremely gifted songwriter and singer named Charles Laughon and began writing new songs and mastering the fledgling technology known as MIDI. J.K. moved to Wilmington, N.C. in 1985 where they connected with a film studio, meeting producers, reading scripts and writing songs for specific film projects. Here, J.K. was honored with the opportunity to appear in the movie "Betsy's Wedding.”
In 1990, J.K. made the decision to open his own recording studio, The Cape Fear Studio. He joined the beach group "Heart and Soul". He also got an opportunity to work with George Lucas as audio playback engineer on "The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles" TV series that filmed in Wilmington in the early 90's. Things were beginning to come full circle, and with the release of Heart and Soul's first album in 2000, the group got enough recognition in the beach music arena to share the "Best New Artist 2000" Cammy Award with old friend, Bill Lyerly. That album also led to his working with musician/producer Jay Spell and Judy Collins of Judy's House of Oldies in N. Myrtle Beach and RubyJude Records. With Ruby Jude, Cape Fear Studio has had several successful and award-winning albums within the Beach Music Industry, far too many to mention here. (For more information about the studio and J.K.'s many accomplishments, please visit www.capefearstudio.com).

Thomas Stanley III - Bass Guitar

Born in Richmond, Virginia but recently relocated to Wilmington, NC Tom Stanley or "T-3" to all his friends, grew up surrounded by music on both sides of the family. His family owned a retail music store and both his parents and grand parents were all involved in music. He began taking guitar lessons at the age of 6 or 7 and eventually taught himself basic chords on Piano when he became bored with the lessons. By age 12 he was playing percussion and hanging out with much older musicians and learning all he could about musicianship. It was about the age of 12 or 13 that he became interested in recording and mixing music as well. He was soon playing semi professionally by age 15 and went on to Full Sail Center for the Recording Arts and got his degree in Recording. After graduation he was fortunate enough to work with many acts including the B-52s, Chaka Khan, Stevie Wonder, Travis Tritt, Jimmy Buffet and corporate clients such as Microsoft, Coca Cola, The Wall Street Journal, General Motors, Bass Masters, and many others. He was fortunate enough to meet Legendary Recording Engineer Tom Dowd in 1991 and eventually got the opportunity to work with Mr. Dowd on many projects before his death in October of 2002. He gave up performing in order to concentrate on engineering for over 10 years but is very happy to be back holding down the bottom on bass guitar with the band. When the band is not performing you will most likely find him behind a recording console or mixing a live show for another band as music is his life!
